The Job Search is Coming to an End
March 2005 has been a very strange month for me. I've seen many twists and turns over the past few days, but I think I'm homing in on my final destination. Things should become more clear in the coming days and I'll share all of the details with you then.

For now, I wish to thank all who have helped me along the way. You know who you are. You've helped me with my resume, you've given me employment leads, you've spoken to job contacts, and you've even encouraged me that I'm on the right path. So, a big "thank you" to all!

User Interaction
Users that login to this site have the ability to submit news articles. Click the link to the left, under the navigation area, to submit an article for review. Once approved, your article will appear on this page.

Authenticated users also have the ability to submit digital photos for the gallery page. Click the word 'Submit' located in the bottom left corner of the gallery page and upload your images. You can upload as many as you like. You have the option to name the photo and give a brief description. If you would like your own gallery, include that in the description area. The gallery is password protected. So, don't be shy!

I hope to create an event calendar in the near future. Check here in the next few days for more information.

Site Changes
Some of you may have noticed that the Online Gallery is now password protected. I have done this to protect the privacy of others. If you would like access to the gallery page, submit a request and I will send you a login.

carlwest.com Is Online!
Hello everyone! carlwest.com is ready for public consumption. The original idea behind this project was to keep all of my job search information in a central location. In just a few short days, this site has grown into much more. This site has turned into an arena to display my design and technical abilities.

This has been a fun experience for me. I'm trying to design each of the modules (photo gallery, news area, administration area, etc.) myself. I've had lots of help getting to this point, but I hope to expand on what I've learned so far. I'm open to suggestions. If you have a request or see something that needs attention, please let me know. You can email me directly or fill out the contact form to reach me.

Have fun with the site and thanks for visiting.
